Trainer's EDGE Training
The Trainer's EDGE Course uses contemporary training techniques and emphasizes the importance of experiential learning, or "learning by doing."
Most of the course sessions not only demonstrate good training methods but also give participants a chance to interact and actually practice what they have learned. Only practice can polish these skills, but this course is intended to “train the trainer” on behaviors and resources while offering hands-on experience in methods and media.
This is part of a continuous process of updating trainers with the latest training methods, principles, and technologies. This conference is mainly for Scouters who will be delivering training to adult leaders as well as to the young people in Scouting."
This course is for any Scout/Scouter that is interested in holding training. This includes council, district, current trainers looking to refresh their skills, and even new Scouters interested in training.
Cost for the Trainer's EDGE course is $20 per person
The maximum class size is 36, the last date to register is 11/8/19.
