Camp Kingsley Scout Reservation

Camp Kingsley is located outside Ava, New York 

During the summer, Camp Kingsley offers both Cub Scout Overnight Adventure Camp and Scouts BSA Day Camp.  Check out our calendar  to see what week works best for your Pack or Troop and to register.

Camp Kingsley Scout Reservations is located in Northern Oneida County, NY and consists of approximately 365-acre of land. It is owned and operated by Scouting America, Leatherstocking Council.

The Scout Reservation is made up of three main areas – Base Camp, Wilderness Camping areas, Bull Head Lake.

Facilities at Camp Kingsely include a central dining hall with a capacity of 200, individual campsites and Lean-to Sites with latrines, and Bull Head lake for boating & swimming, one lake for fishing, a trading post, quartermaster building, three shower house/ comfort station, archery, & shotgun ranges, and an administrative center.

Running water is available at all Camp Sites and there are three shower/bathhouses to support outdoor camping.

Wildlife abounds with populations of deer, squirrel, beaver, turkey, and many species of birds including hawks and owls.

Although facilities are modern and up-to-date, the natural beauty of the reservation has been maintained by careful planning on the part of the Council Camping Committee and of the Council Conservation Committee.
